Top 10 Costumes at Sporting Events Ever!

Sporting Events are a fun day out so why not go in style? Take some ideas from our top 10 favorite costumes at sporting events ever!

10. Toy Story Gang

Looks like Woody, Jesse and Buzz are going on another adventure, but this time it’s to the London marathon. This imaginative costume is very creative but the wearers might find it a bit awkward to run in!

9. Chewbacca

Looks like Chewbacca is taking a break from protecting the galaxy and spending some time down at the baseball. Although this costume isn’t as original or funny as number 10, it would definitely bring any Star Wars fans sitting in the crowd a feeling of excitement that would make the game a memorable one.

8. Spartan

(Taken 11-23-08) --- A Cowboys fan sports antique body armor in the stands during first half NFL football action between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49er's at Texas Stadium in Irving.

This proud Spartan warrior knows how to strike a threatening pose but may have trouble finding a comfortable position to sit in for the rest of the game with a costume like that. This costume is a very fitting thing to wear to a Michigan State Spartans football game (which is probably where this Spartan is now or else he looks very out of place).

7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The teenage mutant ninja turtles are ascending from the sewers…and making their way to the baseball?! Despite the absence of two ninja turtles these unique outfits would not only attract the gaze of other fans but are also appropriate for the release of the new ninja turtles movie.

6. Creepy Skeleton

The combination of his evil gaze and skeletal form gives this spooky costume an uneasy feeling that would surely strike fear into the hearts of any opposing teams…but maybe that is his goal. This costume also has potential to be a very creepy Halloween costume…without all the bright green fluff.

5. Muscle Men

These guys look like they’re having a fun day out. Let’s just hope it’s not a brisk day or else they might not make it to half time with that much bare skin showing. This costume is a clever one and could be used whenever a group costume is needed.

4. Cincinnati Stormtrooper

Lord Vader’s minions need some time off once in a while… so why not go and support your team? This customized Stormtrooper costume shows the Star Wars fans some love as well as the Cincinnati Bengals. It could also be repainted to be a normal stormtrooper and it could then be used at almost every costume party.

3. Smurfs

Even the small people of the forest find it hard to resist the intense pull of the London sevens. But these smurfy costumes really stand out from the rest of the crowd and are very deserving of third place. Another up side to these costumes is that they could be used in groups of any size but maybe they aren’t as fitting at sport events!

2. Yodas

Yet another Star Wars themed costume but this one was too good to leave out. It’s not every day you get to see a sight amazing as six Yoda’s in the bleachers. This odd but funny idea would attract the attention of most people at the game but they could maybe include some other characters from Star Wars such as Darth Vader or Darth Maul.

1. Green Guys

A classic Morphsuit! These two faceless men may seem comical at first but upon closer inspection…they have some guts! Whether they bought seats beside the penalty box to mock the opposition or maybe just to throw them off their game. Their audacity to taunt the barbaric players does not go unrecognised, but maybe it’s safer to keep their identities hidden behind their suits!
