What is a spider Morphsuit?
A spider Morphsuit is a single stretch garment that covers the whole body, hood included, printed all over with a spider-web design. What makes a good-quality spider suit?
A good-quality spider suit comes down to four checkable things: fabric weight, stretch, zip design, and sizing by height. That is our view as the people who make them, and it matches the search demand reaching this page. Across the 15 highest-impression US searches that surfaced this guide in the 90 days to September 20, 2026, 23% of impressions came from searches containing "good", "best", or "quality". - Fabric weight. Fabric weight is measured in grams per square meter (GSM), and a higher figure means a thicker, heavier construction, according to the standard textile measurement definitions. Two details are built for children: cover-stitched inner seams that add strength and help prevent rips during active wear, and a quick-release hook and loop hood for easy removal. It comes in S (3 to 6 years), M (7 to 9 years), and L (10 to 12 years), and the rest of the kids designs sit in our kids Halloween Morphsuits range. If your child sits between two sizes, we recommend sizing up, which also makes the hood easier to wear.
Spider Black Boys
Spider Black Boys is our eight-legged option for kids who want their face free. The set includes a plush long-sleeve top, detachable legs, a spider legs backpack, a hat, and gloves, with the top in a 100% polyester velour-style fabric. The legs detach from the backpack. It opens at the center back and comes in four sizes covering ages 3 to 12.
Can you see, breathe, and move in a full-body suit?
Yes: Morphsuits are designed so the wearer can see out through the hood, which is made from the same breathable stretch fabric as the body. Expect to see more in a lit room than on a dark street. On a dim sidewalk or a dark dance floor, take the hood down; the kids suit has a quick-release hood for that, and on the adult suit both zips adjust the fit around the face opening.
What you wear underneath decides how comfortable the night is. A one-piece stretch suit is not built to carry a phone and keys, so plan a small bag or an armband.
How do you keep a dark suit visible on Halloween night?
Add reflective tape and carry a light. Safe Kids Worldwide advises parents to "decorate costumes and bags with reflective tape or stickers" and to have kids carry glow sticks or flashlights (Safe Kids Worldwide). The American Academy of Pediatrics also advises reflective tape or striping on costumes and bags, and adds that hats should not "slide over eyes or block vision" (HealthyChildren.org).
The AAP line is about hats, and we read a hood the same way: hood off while walking between houses, hood on for the doorstep and the photos. Sizing and care
Choose either Arachnomania suit by height, using the size guide, and for the kids suit we recommend sizing up if your child is between two sizes. The kids creature set is sized by age instead: T2 for 3 to 4 years, S for 4 to 6, M for 7 to 9, and L for 10 to 12.
All three costumes are hand wash only, and none of them goes in the dryer. Use cool or cold water and a gentle detergent, then air dry flat; keep the two Morphsuits away from direct heat and sunlight while they dry.
