What a Morphsuit Is, and What We Make
A Morphsuit is a full-body spandex costume that covers you head to toe, face included, with a see-out mask you can breathe and even have a drink through. We launched the original Morphsuit in 2009. The standard fabric is a 91% polyester and 9% elastane knit with 4-way stretch, every design is tested across 30+ measurements, and we run 500,000+ quality checks a year across the range. A costume that covers your face has to fit before it does anything else.
The name has become the everyday word for what costume shops also sell as zentai suits, skin suits, or full-body suit costumes. It is all the same costume. This is the range it started in.
Morphsuits for Adults and Kids
We build two ranges: adult Morphsuits in solid colors, superhero and character designs, and Halloween styles, and kids Morphsuits sized down for younger wearers, including kids Halloween designs. In our US store, adult Morphsuits outsell kids Morphsuits by roughly 11 to 1, so a group costume or a party almost always starts in the adult range.

Our Mens Black Morphsuit Costume is our best-selling solid color, outselling the next one by around 4 to 1. A clean, no-theme suit that works as a base for glow paint, props, or a costume on its own. |
| If you would rather the costume turned up finished, our Blue Power Rangers Morphsuit has the ranger's helmet, diamond panels, and boots built into the suit already. | ![]() |

If you want the face to do the scaring, the Jaw Dropper Orc Morphsuit adds an oversized fanged mouth over its own 4-way stretch fabric. |
| The Kids Black Morphsuit gives the youngest wearers the same head-to-toe look, sized for age 3 and up. | ![]() |

For an all-over print instead of a plain color, the Skeleton Costume Skull & Bones Morphsuit covers you head to toe in a printed skull and rib cage design, with the same easy back zip and 4-way stretch as the rest of the range. Sized by body measurement, Medium to XX-Large. |
How to Choose the Right Fit
Adult Morphsuits are sized by height, not the usual small-medium-large guess: Medium fits 5'5" to 5'10", Large fits 5'8" to 6'1", X-Large fits 5'9" to 6'2", and XX-Large fits 5'10" to 6'5". Kids Morphsuits are sized by age instead, in Small for 3 to 6 years, Medium for 7 to 9 years, and Large for 10 to 12 years. Age is a blunter instrument than a height band, and that is the one honest caveat on the kids range.
After size, the choice is solid color or design, and it is a question of look rather than fit: both come off the same 91% polyester and 9% elastane knit. A solid is the base you build on, with glow paint, props, or a jacket over the top. A character design like the Power Rangers suit turns up finished and does that work for you. If you cannot decide, start with a solid, because it is the one that works either way.
Care and What's in the Pack
What's in the box varies: some Morphsuits are the suit alone, others include an attached mask, so check the product page before you buy if you want a specific look. Wash yours by hand in cold water. No machine, no tumble dryer, no iron, no bleach: heat and harsh detergent are what damage the fabric. Hang it to dry, and turn it inside out first to protect the finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Morphsuit?
A Morphsuit is a full-body spandex costume that covers you head to toe, including your face, through a see-out mask you can breathe and drink through. We launched the original in 2009, and the standard fabric is a 91% polyester and 9% elastane knit with 4-way stretch. Costume shops sell the same idea as a zentai suit, skin suit, or full-body suit costume.
How do I pick the right Morphsuit size?
For adults, measure your height and match it to the chart: Medium for 5'5" to 5'10", Large for 5'8" to 6'1", X-Large for 5'9" to 6'2", and XX-Large for 5'10" to 6'5". For kids, size by age instead: Small for 3 to 6 years, Medium for 7 to 9, and Large for 10 to 12.
How much do Morphsuits cost?
Solid color adult Morphsuits are among our most affordable costumes. Character designs, like our Power Rangers suits, cost more for the printed detail and the built-in mask, and kids Morphsuits sit close to the adult solid colors. Each product page carries the live price, which moves with promotions.
Where can I buy a genuine Morphsuit?
You will find the full range at Morphsuits.com, plus our storefronts on Amazon, Walmart, and eBay: adult sizes Medium to XX-Large, kids from 3 to 12 years, solid colors and character designs, all on the same fabric and the same fit.
What is a Morphsuit used for?
Most people wear a Morphsuit as a stand-alone Halloween costume, a themed group costume, or a blank base for glow paint and props, since a solid color covers you head to toe in one piece with no separate mask to add. A character design like our Power Rangers or Skull and Bones suits works the same way but arrives finished, with the design already built in.
