HALLOWEEN PARTY INVITATIONS
Whether you are planning an exclusive little get together at home with a few of your favourite ghouls and ghosts, or a spooktacular shindig of monster proportions at some trendy venue or another, don't forget to send a really impressive invite. It's not only the best way of making sure everyone knows where to come and what time to arrive, it's a little teaser for your guests, to let them know what tricks and treats you have in store for them. If your party has a theme, make sure your invitations reflect it nicely. Likewise if there is a dress code, say, ‘Witches Only' for example make sure that's clear too.
lloween party invite can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it. If you're a clever clogs and a bit of a dab hand at Photoshop, you'll probably want to create your own bespook masterpiece. If you're rubbish at creating anything, there are a couple of good websites that will do all the hard work for you.
Ready-made generic invites are another (lazy) option. Or make your own invites? A sheet of white photocopy paper soaked in tea and left to dry gives you the kind of haunted parchment that's straight out of Count Dracula's writing set. Sending out cute Halloween lollipops with a little invitation tag attached is another idea. If you want to show off, Maple Mollys do some rather delicious Belgian chocolate version, shaped like nasty witches, they taste devilishly good.
If you have time and can be bothered, hand deliver each invitation yourself, dressed up in your favourite Halloween fancy dress costume. Who doesn't love finding a scary skeleton standing on their doorstep after dark?
Or create a cringe worthy video invite and email it to your guest list, or post on Facebook? You never know, it could go viral. Actually best not post it. In fact avoid advertising ANY party on social media unless you've got your privacy settings up to date. Otherwise you could end up in a real life horror story. And given the Halloween theme, you'll have a hard job Id-ing the freaks who trashed your house.
